Charleston Town Center

Named the Best Shopping Mall by wv living readers and located within walking distance of the city's downtown district and hotels, the Charleston Town Center was built in 1983. It underwent a complete renovation and reinvestment for its 30th anniversary in 2013.

The mall is anchored by three department stores, Macy’s, JCPenney and Sears, and offers some 130 retail shops, including Coach, Sephora, Ann Taylor Loft, Gap, Gymboree and Build-A-Bear. The mall also has a food court, as well as seven street-level restaurants - Five Guys Burger & Fries, Qdoba, Tidewater Grill, Chili’s, Outback Steakhouse, Panera Bread and the Chop House.
