May is music month in #CWV. Live on the Levee kicks off May 25, opening the free summer concert series with The Charles Walker Band. The FestivALT Concert Series expands to rock three different venues Memorial Day Weekend. Big name artists like Anvil, the Oak Ridge Boys, and Chicago perform in the Capital City this month in addition to always noteworthy Mountain Stage and West Virginia Symphony Orchestra concerts.

Working up an appetite planning your listening schedule? Indulge your taste buds at Taste-of-ALL Charleston, Charley West BBQ Fest, and Foam at the Dome. Then, burn off those calories during a weekend of Argentine Tango Immersion or a Thursday night free Salsa Dancing lesson.  

Experience Charleston’s newest public art project, the Brickscape Exhibition, where local indie rockers Ona will perform an intimate, songwriters show May 27. And, Downtown Charleston ArtWalk and Streetfest return in May, so be sure to fit those in your schedule, too!
