No Pants Players Bring Improv to Mardi Gras
By Lee Hale
No Pants Players
The No Pants Players are doing an improv comedy show at Bar Louie’s in the Mardis Gras Casino at 7 pm Thursday, Feb. 11.
What’s so special about this show? It’s hilarious for starters.
It’s also free!
That’s right - it’s a free show and a great time. There’s nothing better to do on a Thursday evening than come to Bar Louie’s, have a few drinks and enjoy West Virginia’s premier improv group.
To best describe the No Pants Players show, for those who aren’t aware as to what they do, go watch the television show “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” The biggest difference is, this show is an adults-only performance. So we don’t have the language and content restrictions the “Whose Line” folks have to abide by. The comedy definitely doesn’t depend on this, but since it’s an interactive show, the show goes where the crowd leads it.
If you really want to become familiar, go to www.nopantsplayers.com and check out what we have to offer. Here, you’ll find a list of upcoming shows, videos to preview and some other random information.
The No Pant Players are in their 15th year of performing and have graced the stages at the Clay Center, The Alban Arts Center, the Labelle Theater, the Capitol Theatre and many other venues around West Virginia.
So be sure not to miss this hilarious show for the very rare price of free! It only runs from 7 to 9 pm, so you’ll in bed in plenty of time to get a full night’s sleep.
